Hi there, I am organising wedding from abroad. It will be a Christmas wedding. What time will it get too late for out door photographs? I need to book the church soon and am thinking about the ceremony timing? Any ideas? Venue will be in Dublin. Many thanks

    Hi Kitty

Generally anytime after 5pm. Depending on the photographer you can still get some very good evening shots. I have a lot of light and portable lighting that my flash heads can attach to and this allows me to get some nice evening shots in. Ok you can’t do large groups but you can mess about with the bridal party etc. Getting married in winter means that you need to make the most of the daylight and that means an early ceremony.

    Hope this helps

I would say 4.30 it will be dark …but even with the dark a good photographer could do very dramitic shoots make sure you ask if they are confident about taking pictures in the dusk

    good luck
