Roganstown Golf and Country club is set in 320 acres of secluded parkland in the heart of Dublin city. “It’s a fairytale style setting with the intimacy of a country manor,” says Mark Flanagan, Conference and Banqueting Manager in Roganstown. “We have only got 52 bedrooms in our hotel so our primary focus is always on the bride and groom from the moment they arrive to the moment they drive off as husband and wife.”
With just fourteen months under its belt, this relatively recent wedding venue has had no trouble finding its feet. “As soon as Easter hits wedding season is in full swing, straight through until November. We also have five weddings between St. Stephen’s Day and New Years Day. A wedding always creates this fantastic ambiance but blended with the Christmas spirit generates this electricity that’s amazing. I think in this setting, it makes the day that little bit more special,” enthuses Mark. “Also I think our staff are passionate about providing the best service they can and this adds to all the weddings we conduct and sets us apart from our competitors.”

“We cater for every individual bride’s wishes and try to produce their perfect day. I find that there is a great deal of job satisfaction in seeing a wedding go well and speaking to the couple or family afterwards and hearing their contentment.
“Our food has gotten great acclaim from the critics. We have been told that we have a restaurant style service in banqueting style surroundings. It’s so easy to get it wrong but our chef is second to none,” adds Mark.
With a first class menu that includes Smoked Duck, Blackberry and Champagne Sorbet and Fillet of Beef with caramelised shallots and Madeira Jus, how can one be surprised that the standards are high? We work off a very wide & varied banqueting selector menu as oppose to a specific Wedding Package, but each package is individually tweaked and perfected to suit each individual bride.
