Frankly Sinatra Live at the Helix 12th December 2009

Following several sellout concerts at the Helix in recent years, Sean Hession returns to the Mahony Hall for one night only. This new show, in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation, will feature many seasonal songs along with the standard Sinatra repertoire.

With potent accompaniment from the Dave Gold sixteen-piece Big Band, mammoth talents of world-renowned guitarist Louis Stewart and the brilliant Jim Doherty on piano, this special Christmas event will indeed be a night to remember – and importantly, a fund-raiser for such a worthy cause.

Few can truly interpret the magic of Francis Albert as effectively as Sean Hession. His work to date has been a crusade of heartfelt singing with spellbinding Sinatra similarity. Frankly Sinatra…The Show has captivated thousands of people in some of the biggest auditoria in Ireland. A blend of favourites with lesser-known but equally beguiling songs ensures variety in each performance. Aficionados or those eager to acquaint themselves with this beautiful music, will be treated to a night of sublime entertainment and seasonal cheer, with several newly-commissioned arrangements.
