The English Premiership stars had an exhausting weekend as four footballers (and their WAGs- Wives And Girlfriends) competed for the ‘Best WAG-dding of the summer’ prize.
The wag-dding weekend kicked off on Friday, when Chelsea’s captain John Terry married his long-term girlfriend Toni Poole.
On Saturday, Manchester United captain Gary Neville wed Emma Hadfield, his team-mate Michael Carrick tied the knot with Lisa Roughead and Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard married Alex Curran.
The competition for the ‘Best WAG-dding’ was hard and some footballers had to choose which wedding they should attend.
Wayne Rooney and fiancee Coleen McLoughlin (queen of the WAGs) opted to move by helicopter to hop from celebration to celebration.
