Choosing the Right Dresses for Your Bridesmaids

Brides have a tendency to be so obsessed with their own dress and their actual ceremony, that they tend to just choose a style based on their motif and hope it looks good. Remember, you chose them because they are special to you, and that they will be there should disaster threaten to disrupt your wedding plans.

And because we have already established how special they are, please keep in mind not to dress them in any puffy sleeved dress that makes them look like walking planks. I've seen quite a few weddings like this, and you can't deny that you haven't yourself.

When choosing a dress for your bridesmaid, try to find a style and colour that will not only go well with your wedding motif, but will also flatter the different sizes and skin tones of your bridesmaids.

You should also take note of the prices. As much as possible, choose a dress style that falls within the 100 Euro-budget. If you can find something as good, but is cheaper than that, then everyone will be happier. Try not to go overboard with dress costs.

Even though it's your wedding, you may also want to consider giving them freedom to choose their own dress style. Even if you don't have a uniform entourage, you are at least ensured that they're comfortable and happy.

The dress length is really dependent on the time and type of wedding. Longer dresses are more appropriate for formal weddings. Informal daytime weddings on the other hand are more flexible. They can be on the short side, or even as long as the bride's, minus the trail of course.
