As winner of the “Bridal Designer of the Year Award 2004″ in the “Slim and Elegant” category, Bronte has developed a stellor reputation for its elegant, stylish, and beautiful bridal wear designs. Each dress is individually designed, and hand finished with details such as the embroidery and beading for which Miriam is renowned.
The Wicklow Street bridal store has just been closed.
“It was a difficult decision to make”, says Miriam, “particularly as the store was doing so well. I decided to concentrate on my own designs, simply because it was getting to the stage that we were unable to keep up with the demand for them, while also stocking other collections. I was receiving alot of international inquiries from retailers interested in acquiring my designs, so expanding into the wholesale market was a natural progression, enabling me to distribute my collection abroad.”
With the success the Bronte collection has enjoyed so far, there is no doubt that Miriam Spollen is joining the ranks of Ireland’s most successful bridal designers in the international market.
