An Post has created a new special edition 55c ‘Wedding’ stamp to help couples celebrate their marriage in 2008, and it is proving a very successful idea.
The Wedding stamp adds a beautiful finishing touch to stationery that is such an important part of every wedding, including invites, RSVPs and thank you cards. The stamp is designed to co-ordinate with all styles of wedding stationery and is an attention grabber for guests receiving much awaited invites.
The 55c, 2008 An Post Wedding Stamp is designed by Amanda Brady, with stamp photography by Harry Weir. The beautiful black and white close-up picture is a timeless image of the bride and groom in a loving embrace on their wedding day. This classic image symbolises love, marriage and the joy a couple’s wedding day brings. Due to the popularity of the first series of Wedding stamps An Post expects huge demand for these booklets.
