Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphrie’s Fairytale Wedding

fairytale weddingAll eyes were on Kim and Kris' very expensive and extravagant wedding last August 20, 2011. It was a black and white wedding that was attended by popular celebrities like Ryan Seacrest, Carmelo Anthony, Linday Lohan, Avril Lavigne and more.

The nuptials looked absolutely elegant with everyone wearing either classic black or white. But the star of the night was Kim Kardashian, who walked with stepfather Bruce Jenner. She walked towards the alter wearing a strapless Vera Wang dress with an ivory tulle ballgown, basque waist, and hand pieced Chantilly lace applique on the bodice and train.

Her jewellery was equally stunning. Her featured drop headpiece was a 65-carat diamond that secured her cathedral length veil and bracelet from Humphries. Her wedding ring was an exquisite diamond eternity band by Lorraine Schwartz with more than 15 carats of emerald cut stones.

The maid and matron of honour were sisters Kourtney and Khloe, while Kendall and Kylie were bridesmaids. The adorable Mason, Kim's nephew was their cute ring-bearer.

They had a tent reception which had an Old-Hollywood glamour theme. It was absolutely beautiful work by celebrity wedding planner Sharon Sacks. The location was designed with hundreds of white hydrangeas and orchids, mirrors and crystal chandeliers by Mark's Garden.

For their reception, Kim changed into her other Vera Wang dress for the first dance. It was an ivory georgette mermaid gown designed with organza petals on the skirt.

And right when you think you've been dazzled by the Kim's wedding dresses, she then changes into her third Vera Wang dress, this time, an ivory bias-cut crepe back satin gown with a V-neck and a circle skirt. The Earth, Wind and Fire tunes were spun by DJ Cassidy.

The menu was a scrumptious heirloom tomato salad, agnolotti pasta and roasted chicken. For desert, an impressive six-foot tall wedding cake with eight tiers, with alternating flavours of marble cake and chocolate butter crème with chocolate chips, and vanilla with chocolate chip filling.
