"Highlake Monastery" was built in 1857 by the Franciscan Brothers, but has been a private residence since 1970.
Our Chapel is unusual well decorated with painted Celtic designs on its walls, and offers an unique opportunity for a private and unparalleled function such as a wedding.
Highlake is located about 10 miles NW from Roscommon-town, near Ballinaheglish. Guests arrive via a long driveway to the Outer-Yard with ample parking space. Through an archway one enters the Inner-Yard and the entrance to the Chapel.
We offer the usage of our Chapel on a private and personal basis.
