I live in England and want to have my wedding in Ireland.
We would prefer to have a civil ceremony and I am now looking for venues that can hold this type of ceremony rather than in a Registary Office. Am aware that the law changed in Nov 07, but where do I start to look for venues/hotels etc that can now hold a civil ceremony? I would prefer Southern Ireland, Cork or Kerry if possible but am open to suggestions or any help! |

Does anyone know of a church that would be available in the Lucan/North Dublin area for a Christian Service, but not a Catholic church (as you have to be a Catholic to get married in a Catholic church)? Thanks

I think most venues will be doing civil ceremonies by the end of the year. But your best bet is to find a venue you like and ask them cause they may be in the process of getting approved to do them. Also....you can only have a civil ceremony monday thru friday. They won't do them on weekends. Best of luck!
