Just reading your reply and I see that one of the songs you mentioned is Better Together by Jack Johnson. That is mine and my partners "song" but we thought perhaps it was a bit too fast and beaty for a slow dance (if that makes sense!). Have people used this song before and does it look stupid dancing to it?

My absolute favourite song that we're going to have for our slow dance is Songbird by Eva Cassidy. It's so lovely and very romantic, and I just love that it never features on any of the usual lists for first dances.

The only problem I have is that hopefully our band won't make a terrible job of it! It's a tricky song to get right.
