Default Jewellery Valuations

Hi All
Neither my wedding or engagement rings are insured I really need to get on and get this done but do not have valuations certs for these, can anyone tell me where to go or recommend anyone to help me with this. One of the rings was not bought in Ireland will this be a problem?
What do I need will the valuer need recipets or any other documents, what kind of money do they charge?
Thanks

hi, ask various jewellers if they would value it (and go with highest valuation), then call house insurance co. and tell them what it is, they will want the valualtion (so thats why i say send in the highest one)....and do it asap....my sisters diamond came loose! oh and congrats
