Hi!! I'm new to this but I need help!!

Im getting maried this July and had my 1st make up trial last Saturday and it was a disaster!!
I had blotchy, patchy skin and black panda eyes!!
I told the beautician that I wanted a light, fresh look and didn't want it to be dark at all!!

Has anyone else run into this problem and what should I tell the next beautician I go to (this sat coming!)

Hi, that is awful!!! Would you not consider getting a make up artist as opposed to a beautician.

I have a makeup artist coming to my house on the morning of the wedding. I wanted a real make up professional as I don't wear a lot of make up and wouldn't know where to start for my wedding day. She is coming to do my hair and makeup and (my bridal party) and said my trial for both will take about 3 or 4 hours until we get both right. YOu could be out a fortune finding the right beautician.

I actually never thought of just gettng a make up artist being honest!!
I know there is one in Kilkenny (where I am based) so I will contact her!)
That is so handy getting your hair and make up done by one person!!!
I will let you know how the trial with the other beautician goes this Sat!! And you are so right about the money!! The trial last Sat cost €30 and so will the one this sat!!

Yeah, let me know how you get on. The girl that I am getting travels all over Ireland. The company is called Weddings by Desire. You should check out the website. I found some make up artists were very expensive and for hair and makeup her prices are extremely reasonable. She done make up and hair for Off the Rails a few weeks back. Anyway she is coming to do my trials next month and said that if i'm not happy with her work she will refund my deposit. Can't argue with that!!!!
