Hi everyone,my name is Siobhan. We got engaged in March on our 6 year anniversary (yeah, I know, we're really rushing in there! ). The big day is April 25th 2008 and we're really excited. Have the church and the hotel booked, and am looking forward to twelve months of mayhem!

Default Wedding, December

Hi all, my name's Aine and I emigrated to London from Dublin in 1996 for college. Lived there for 8 years and have now been in Phoenix, Arizona for 3 years. All my family are still in Ireland and I miss it all the time. Would you believe I've been engaged for 4 years last February! (To an English guy I met in London called Alex). Finally happening this December 7th in the Cook Islands and returning to Ireland for the reception just before Christmas. Can't wait but need some advice on a suitable venue for an intimate reception (max.50 people) in an impressive surrounding. Looked at Clontarf Castle as this is near where I grew up and one of their rooms looked perfect but would not accomodate the number of people (the next room up was one of those typical hotel conference room types). Any advice would be appreciated (am open to restaurants also) and I hope I can return the favour.

Hi there, Im Ruth
We are getting married Dec 8th this year .I have arranged flowers for countless weddings yet when it comes to organising my own I'm like a novice. All the big stuff is in place ..venue, church, dress etc but if I want my wedding to have any flair I have a lot of work to do. ops:

Default New here

Hi All

My name is helen I am new here so please forgive me for all the questions I am going to ask in the next 15 months

I am getting married on Monday 29th December 08 which seems along way off but every1 keeps telling me it will fly. I just a few question for the moment.

I am from Roscommon but working in Athlone. Is there anywhere in Roscommon, Galway, Westmeath or Sligo that I can hire a wedding dress and bridesmaid I don't want to spend 1000 euro or more I have the dress collecting dust for the rest of its life.

Here in Roscommon and Athlone hairdresses have monday as their day off do you think that they would open for me on my wedding day. I go to a hairdresser here in Athlone but I don't want to have travel 26 miles on the morning of wedding to get my hair done
I use to go to a hairdresser in Roscommon do you think that she might open for me, my mum still goes to her.

Will flowers last in the church from the sunday night. Getting married on a Monday seems to be causing a few problems.

I would be great full for any help in the above questions. I hope that I can return the favour cause I am a parish secretary here in St. Mary's Athlone and know what paper work needs to be done before hand so maybe I can help with some of your questions.

Thanks
Nevours Bride Already

Hi there

I am getting married 4 weeks on Friday our reception is at a beach bar in Kerry we are really looking forward to it. It will be a big party.
For the girl looking for wedding dress for under 1000 euro, I got mine on ebay and tha dress was made in china I sent a pic to Mr. China and he made the dress I wanted. Look up ebay dresses.
Best of luck
